What does empowerment mean to you as a woman in printing?
Empowerment as a woman in printing means having the confidence, resources, and opportunities to excel in a male-dominated industry. It’s about breaking barriers, leading with innovation, and inspiring others to embrace creativity and excellence.
It also means advocating for equal opportunities, supporting other women in the field, and proving that skill, passion, and determination define success, not gender.
Empowerment is about continuous learning, evolving, and making an impact through quality work and leadership.
Can you share a moment in your career when you felt truly empowered?
One of the most empowering moments in my career was when I helped a business transform its brand identity through strategic design and packaging. Seeing a client’s reaction when their vision came to life and knowing that my expertise played a key role was incredibly fulfilling.
Beyond that, mentoring other women entering the printing and branding industry has been a huge source of empowerment. Watching them gain confidence, develop their skills, and break through barriers reminds me why representation and leadership matter.
What resources or programs have helped you grow in your career that you would recommend to young women?
Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, which is a US exchange program, took me through a rigorous process of regularizing my business, passing through the due diligence process, and setting my business up to a global standard. I am recommending this program for other women to partake.
