1) What does “making your move” mean to you at this stage of your career?

The printing industry has changed a lot over the last three decades. To me, making my move now means staying ahead of those changes — finding new opportunities, adapting to evolving customer needs, and helping position our company for continued growth. I’m energized by being part of that evolution.

2) Can you share a moment when you took action that moved your career forward?

Stepping into the PICA Chairwoman role was a turning point for me. It expanded my leadership beyond sales and gave me greater visibility within the printing community. It strengthened my network, built my confidence as a leader, and positioned me as someone invested in the future of the industry — not just my own results.

3) What helped you recognize the right time to make that move?

I had been involved with PICA for several years, so I understood the organization and had built strong relationships within it. It felt like a natural next step rather than a risk. I knew the timing was right because I was prepared — both in experience and in confidence — to take on the leadership role.

4) What advice would you give women in print who are considering their next move?

Print is still a relationship business, and there is absolutely room for women to lead. My advice would be to stay visible, stay involved, and don’t underestimate the value of your experience.

Build your credibility over time, and when leadership opportunities come up, step into them. The industry benefits when women bring their perspective to the table.
